Product Description
This is the same Porsche-designed, hot-V 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 covered above for the 971 Panamera and 9Y0 Cayenne Turbo, here running a lower factory state of tune for applications like the Cayenne S. That doesn't make the engineering underneath it any less remarkable. Since its debut, this V8 architecture has gone on to power performance flagships across the entire Volkswagen Group: Audi's RS6, RS7, SQ7, and SQ8, the Bentley Bentayga and Continental GT, and the Lamborghini Urus all run versions of the same Zuffenhausen-designed engine, proof that Porsche exported genuine engineering leadership into this generation of the family rather than simply borrowing someone else's.
Weistec's ECU tune for this application is a software recalibration layered on top of Porsche's factory engineering. Knock protection, thermal management, and OEM diagnostics all continue operating exactly as the factory designed them, and the calibration is built with the same validation rigor as Porsche's own tuning work. Here the gain is substantial: about 99 additional horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque from an engine that was already engineered to be shared across some of the fastest cars on the road, now unlocked the way it was always capable of running.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
