Product Description
This is the single-turbo 3.0-liter end of Audi's EA839 V6 family, the same core architecture as the 2.9-liter bi-turbo above, engineered from the ground up to replace an earlier supercharged V6 with a turbocharged design that offered both more power and a tougher bottom end. Porsche runs this variant across its mid-tier Panamera, Cayenne, and Macan lineup with a deliberately measured factory calibration, one that plays it cool on paper while leaving real, verifiable headroom in the hardware underneath.
Weistec's ECU tune for the 3.0T is a software-only recalibration that works entirely within the factory's turbocharger, fueling, and cooling hardware, with knock protection, thermal management, and OEM diagnostics left completely intact. It's calibrated with the same rigor as an OEM tune, not a generic aftermarket flash, and because the factory left this variant with genuine reserve, even a gain that sounds modest on paper, around 26 horsepower and 20 lb-ft of torque, represents real capability recovered straight out of hardware that was engineered to deliver it.

Complete The Upgrade
An ECU tune alone won't remove all factory limits or fix how power reaches the ground. Add these to round out the upgrade with no limitations.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
Good to Know
- This is a reflash of your original module, not a stand-alone unit.
- Power gains vary by vehicle, modifications, fuel, and operating conditions (ambient temperature, altitude, etc.).
- New or upgraded spark plugs are always recommended when tuning.
- Product may not be emissions compliant. Check local laws prior to installation.
- Always use a battery charger during programming.
