Product Description
The Turbo S runs the same 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 as the standard 958 Cayenne Turbo, but it's Porsche's own harder-edged calibration of that engine, the factory's way of carving out a genuine performance gap for its range-topping Cayenne trim. It's Porsche pushing its twin-turbo V8 architecture right up against what it considered the safe ceiling for a full-size SUV at the time, and doing it with nothing but calibration expertise.
That aggressive factory starting point means Weistec's ECU tune for the Turbo S is an even more finely targeted piece of software recalibration, built entirely on top of Porsche's own engineering with every knock-protection and thermal safeguard left exactly where the factory put it. It's validated to the same standard as an OEM calibration, not a shortcut aftermarket flash, and even starting from that already-elevated factory baseline, it finds a further 40 horsepower and about 88 lb-ft of torque still hiding in the hardware.

Complete The Upgrade
An ECU tune alone won't remove all factory limits or fix how power reaches the ground. Add these to round out the upgrade with no limitations.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
Good to Know
- This is a reflash of your original module, not a stand-alone unit.
- Power gains vary by vehicle, modifications, fuel, and operating conditions (ambient temperature, altitude, etc.).
- New or upgraded spark plugs are always recommended when tuning.
- Product may not be emissions compliant. Check local laws prior to installation.
- Always use a battery charger during programming.
