Product Description
The F154 is Ferrari's own twin-turbo V8, the first turbocharged Ferrari road engine since the legendary F40, and it announced itself the moment it landed in the California T. Grown from 3.855 to 3.9 liters for the 488 GTB, 488 Spider, 488 Pista, and F8 Tributo, it makes as much as 710 factory horsepower, with twin IHI turbos nestled inside the vee of the engine rather than outside it, a hot-vee layout that shortens the intake and exhaust plumbing and drops the engine's center of gravity. The result has repeatedly won International Engine of the Year's Best Performance category, an honor that used to belong almost exclusively to Ferrari's naturally aspirated engines before this V8 arrived and claimed it.
Recalibrating an engine with this kind of pedigree calls for real rigor, and that's exactly how Weistec approaches it: a software-only recalibration that builds directly on Ferrari's own hot-vee layout and factory protections (knock control, thermal limits, OEM diagnostics) instead of working around them. The gain is substantial, from 660 to 776 horsepower and 560 to 682 lb-ft of torque, all extracted from hardware Ferrari already engineered to an exceptionally high standard, and it takes an engine that was already breaking records to a genuinely new level.

Complete The Upgrade
An ECU tune alone won't remove all factory limits or fix how power reaches the ground. Add these to round out the upgrade with no limitations.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
Good to Know
- This is a reflash of your original module, not a stand-alone unit.
- Power gains vary by vehicle, modifications, fuel, and operating conditions (ambient temperature, altitude, etc.).
- New or upgraded spark plugs are always recommended when tuning.
- Product may not be emissions compliant. Check local laws prior to installation.
- Always use a battery charger during programming.
