Product Description
Few engines in production history are as genuinely inventive as Bentley's W12. Instead of a conventional single-block V12, engineers took two narrow-angle 15-degree VR6 blocks (already a clever way of packing six cylinders under one head) and joined them on a shared crankshaft set at a 72-degree offset, creating four banks of three cylinders that fire and breathe exactly like a V12 while needing only two camshaft pairs to do it. The payoff is remarkable packaging: the finished unit comes in roughly 24% shorter than a comparable V12. The format debuted in the Audi A8, but it was Bentley that turned it into a signature, fitting it to the Continental GT and hand-building every unit at Crewe. When the Bentayga launched, the W12 was reworked from the sump up with cylinder deactivation, twin-scroll turbos, and combined direct and port injection, arriving at a muscular 600 horsepower and 664 lb-ft. Volkswagen Group has since closed out W12 production, capping two remarkable decades for one of the most distinctive engine architectures ever put into series production.
Weistec's ECU tune builds directly on top of that factory engineering, not around it or instead of it. The W12's cylinder deactivation, knock protection, and thermal management all continue to operate exactly as the factory designed them. What changes is the software: an OEM-level recalibration of ignition timing, boost, and fueling, developed with the same validation discipline Bentley itself applies to this engine. The result takes the Bentayga W12 from a factory 600 hp and 664 lb-ft to 750 hp and 790 lb-ft, a genuine leap for an engine that was already engineered to feel effortless, now with real muscle to match.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
