Product Description
Audi came to the hot-vee twin-turbo V8 game later than Mercedes-AMG and BMW, but what it built once it got there was genuinely ambitious. The EA825 nests both turbochargers inside the vee of the block, right where they belong, shortening the path from compressor to intake port and sharpening throttle response in a way outboard-turbo layouts never could. That same architecture went on to anchor some of the most respected performance cars in the VW Group family, from the Porsche Panamera to the Bentley Continental GT to the Lamborghini Urus, and in the C8 RS6 Avant and RSQ8 it reaches its absolute peak. This is Audi's flagship performance V8, sending more torque through quattro than any factory V8 Audi has ever built. That's not a small claim, and the engine backs it up.
Weistec's ECU tune takes that already remarkable hardware and pushes it somewhere the factory never dared to go. It's a pure software recalibration built to the same standard of validation Audi's own engineers apply to their own work. Boost, fueling, and ignition strategy get refined from the ground up, while knock protection, thermal management, and factory OEM diagnostics stay exactly as Audi built them. The result is a genuine 99 horsepower and 145 lb-ft over stock, extracted from an engine that was already engineered with real headroom in mind. The EA825 was already special. This is what special looks like with nothing left on the table.

Complete The Upgrade
An ECU tune alone won't remove all factory limits or fix how power reaches the ground. Add these to round out the upgrade with no limitations.

What is a CPC module?
The CPC (Central Powertrain Control) is a separate control unit that manages things like the active exhaust valves, radiator fan, intercooler pumps, and speed limiter. On many newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it also houses torque limiters that can hold back an ECU tune from reaching its full potential.
What is a TCU tune?
A TCU (transmission control unit) tune delivers faster, firmer shifts with higher line pressure, reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. It's a worthwhile upgrade on its own, or paired with an ECU tune for a fully sorted powertrain.
Good to Know
- This is a reflash of your original module, not a stand-alone unit.
- Power gains vary by vehicle, modifications, fuel, and operating conditions (ambient temperature, altitude, etc.).
- New or upgraded spark plugs are always recommended when tuning.
- Product may not be emissions compliant. Check local laws prior to installation.
- Always use a battery charger during programming.
