Product Description
Our forged pistons and billet 4340 rods add a great degree of strength and resilience to the M156 engine. The pistons benefit from an improved wrist pin design over the OEM pistons. The piston top ceramic coating helps to increase the heat resistance, and the piston skirts are Teflon-coated to reduce friction. The billet 4340 rods, which are of a stronger material and design than the original rods, are capable of supporting much higher power levels. These are the pistons and rods that are used in our M156 Built Engine Package.
Piston to Rod geometry has been optimized for performance, as well as an increase in deck thickness. Due to different geometry and wrist pin sizing, pistons and rods must be used together.
