The 2.0L engine in the Polaris RZR Pro R is a very capable engine making good power in stock form. As good as performance is right from the factory, there will always be those of us that need more. That is why we have designed the Weistec Stage 1 Turbo Kit, a turn-key turbo kit that has OEM like fitment and quality while also being easily customizable.
The base kit features a cast stainless steel manifold to avoid cracking issues that can be common on tubular turbo headers. The manifold has a V-band connection to ensure leak free mating to the Garrett turbocharger. In standard form, the turbo is a GT2860RS which is capable of 350hp. For those looking to get more from fully built applications, the kit can be supplied with a GTX2860RS Gen2 turbo, rated at 450hp! Both turbo options feature an internal wastegate with a V-band outlet for the downpipe. The downpipe is made of 304SS material and features a flex section as well as a flange to directly bolt onto the factory muffler/catalyst/spark arrester, meaning any bolt on aftermarket muffler system will also be compatible.
QUALITY AND FINISH
All exhaust components are tig welded 304 stainless steel construction and flanges are CNC machined to ensure best quality. After welding, exhaust plumbing is brushed for a clean finished look.
ALL NECESSARY HARDWARE INCLUDED
A complete set of heat-sleeved protected oil and coolant lines and all necessary fittings are included to easily supply the turbo with oil and coolant. A billet aluminum manifold adapter is also included to supply boost/vacuum to the Weistec Anti Surge Valve as well as a water/meth injection controller and/or a boost gauge.
On the cold side of things is a custom air to air intercooler which mounts in the “firewall” between the engine and the seats. Built into one of the end tanks is a flange for the Weistec Anti Surge Valve which vents off excess pressure whenever the throttle is released creating a “blow-off” sound. A new powder coated aluminum panel is supplied to replace the factory panel and provide a path for air to flow to the intercooler and protect it from debris with an integrated stainless-steel mesh. On the back side of the intercooler is an aluminum shroud with 3 Spal fans. The fans run continuously whenever ignition is on to ensure the intercooler is constantly extracting heat from the air charge. A relay harness is included to provide power to the fans. 4 ply silicone couplers connect the turbo to the intercooler and the intercooler to the throttle body. The coupler to the throttle body features a port for a Weistec Water/Meth Injection injector for those that wish to also purchase the Weistec WMI System for their RZR Pro R.
