How Does The Weistec W.3 Turbo Upgrade Work?
To perform this upgrade, your factory turbochargers must be sent in to us. Once received, they are
disassembled and fully inspected. The compressor cover and center cartridge are then machined to accept
our 5-axis CNC-machined impeller wheel. The new impeller wheel supports greater power levels than the factory unit with
little to no sacrifice in spool or response. The turbochargers are then reassembled with new seals
and fully balanced for smooth operation and OEM service life. All original oil and coolant lines bolt
right up, making for a simple install.
If you prefer not to send in your turbos first, a core exchange option is available. With this option, upgraded turbochargers are shipped to you up front with a core charge, which is refunded once your factory units are returned and pass inspection

Externally, no changes are made to maintain a completely stock
appearance. The new impeller wheel supports greater power levels than the factory unit
with little to no sacrifice in spool and response. The turbochargers are then
reassembled with new seals and fully balanced for smooth operation and OEM service life.
All the original oil and coolant lines bolt right up making for a simple install. The compressor
cover inlet pipe is also machined as the original size would be a restriction to the new Weistec
compressor wheel.
